Our family celebrated the great blessings of our American heritage quietly at home, with
a lovely Independence Day bouquet,
- some "new" thrifted festive clothes (my red tee proclaimed "Freedom"!),
- hamburgers, hot dogs, and sweet, ripe watermelon,
- quiet hours assembling a patriotic puzzle (finished on the 5th!), and
- televised concerts and fireworks.
The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.
I will bless the LORD, . . .
