Change of seasons

We accomplished a few projects this summer... the pantry got organized, and the kitchen mantel and the badly scuffed kitchen table both got fresh paint.

So, now there's a nice, neat row of dried beans & rice & pasta for fall dishes lining the mantel. And, the refreshed table is adorned with a pot of mums given to us by a nice neighbor!
